If you follow this blog, you likely already know that one of the things we’re passionate about is protecting our natural environments.  Unfortunately, here in Alberta, our provincial government has made the decision to delist 164 provincial parks, removing environmental protections and opening the door to sell the land.  They are also cutting track-setting for cross country skiing in Kananaskis Country.

These decisions were made without consultation or notice, and despite a massive public backlash, the government is not willing to engage with Albertans in meaningful dialogue about these cuts.  We wrote about these issues at length in “In Defense of Alberta Parks” and more recently, “About Track Setting in Kananaskis” if you would like to read up on it.  Or get even more information at CPAWS or Defend Alberta Parks

So please, order a calendar and we’ll donate all of the profit to organizations working to protect our Parks.

Sorry – these are Calendars are only available within Canada!

Timing: Note, we’ve gone through two orders of calendars so far (which is AWESOME!), so we’re ordering more, but late orders may not make it in time for Christmas.  We should be able to ship them before the calendar flips over to 2021 though!
